They say that every man is obliged to pay his debt to his homeland and serve in the army, but in practice, not everyone seeks to return this debt. Some of the celebrities on the list did not serve for health reasons, others “slipped” due to their studies, and someone frankly “ran”, and does not even hide this.
10. Nikolai Valuev
Looking at its size and severe, even menacing appearance, it is quite difficult to believe that he did not serve in the army. However, it is also difficult to imagine him as a "spirit": it is unlikely that the "grandfathers" would dare to mock him. After school, Valuev entered the St. Petersburg Institute. P.F. Lesgaft, and at the age of 20 began to engage in boxing, entering the professional ring only six months after the start of training. Height of 213 centimeters and weight in the region of 150 kg (Nikolai weighed 146 when weighed before the fight with Sergey Lyakhovich), coupled with perseverance, he became one of the best boxers of his generation, and certainly the most memorable.
9. Dmitry Bilan
But with this actors, everything is a little easier: it is difficult to imagine in uniform and with weapons in hand. With a microphone on stage, it looks much more harmonious, as the singer himself has repeatedly stated in an interview with reporters. To questions about why he did not go to serve, the artist always says that he prefers to serve the motherland on the stage, and not in the military unit.
8. Nikolay Rastorguev
And again, surprise: the performer famous for military songs is far from military service. Nobody except Rastorguev himself knows the exact reason, so in the interview he voices different versions. According to one of them, he did not join the army because of his studies, although he wanted to serve, and not just anywhere, but in the landing. However, it is known that the Moscow Technological Institute of Light Industry, to which the singer entered after school, he did not graduate from, as he was expelled. Another reason is health status. Several times he said that he could not go through a medical examination and received a “white ticket”, although he was preparing for the service and wanted it.
7. Nikolay Baskov
This singer did not wear tarpaulin boots because of his studies: first he graduated from the Gnesinka, and then went to the conservatory. After studying for a good 10 years, he came out of military age, so with a clear conscience he began to build a musical career. Nikolai’s father was an infantryman, but Baskov had a double attitude to the service: on the one hand, he was ready to “chop off” what was supposed to be, and on the other, he was not very upset that this fate had passed him.
6. Prokhor Chaliapin
A native of the popular show “Star Factory” is completely fit for military service, but he was given a respite. At least, so says Prokhor himself. In numerous interviews, he repeatedly mentioned that his father is a disabled person of the 2nd group, and since he is the only breadwinner in the family, the military enlistment office "spared" him and granted a respite. Is it really so or the singer just “slanted” - no one knows.
5. Timati
50 Cent domestic bottling consciously did not go to serve, considering it a waste of time. Timati, who, according to his passport, Timur Yunusov, has nothing against the soldiers, but he himself was never in a hurry to replenish their ranks. Once he said that he knows how to use firearms even without the courses of a young soldier, and he does not need anything else. “I have a military ID, so there can be no claims under the law,” commented Blackstar.
4. Maxim Galkin
The comedian, TV presenter, and also the husband of Alla Pugacheva also missed the service because of his studies. Being a close friend of Nikolai Baskov, he fully shares his point of view and is ready to pay his debt to the Motherland, but has already left the military age. His father, by the way, was a military man, like Baskov. When the parodist was 7 years old, his father became a major general of the Soviet army, subsequently rising to the rank of colonel general.
3. Philip Kirkorov
The ex-husband of Alla Pugacheva, as well as the People's Artist of Russia, Ukraine, and more recently, Moldova, did not join the Armed Forces at the time because of citizenship and study. As a Bulgarian citizen, Kirkorov first studied and was not called up, and then worked in another country. The “pop king” of the Russian pop media said to the press that he regrets a little that he did not serve: “If I had a choice, I would love to go to a military band. It's great to raise the spirit of comrades in arms with music. ”
2. Vlad Topalov
This popular pop artist is the only one on the list who still has a real chance to try on a military uniform. Topalov himself, however, does not burn with great desire, preferring to follow the example of his colleague on the stage of Dima Bilan and serve the country on stage. When asked by journalists about why this is the case, Vlad replies that he simply did not receive a single subpoena. He claims that he has no idea what the reason is, but he is simply not being called upon. Maybe he is cunning, or maybe the military enlistment office really forgot about him. In this case, many young people of military age can only envy him.
1. Dmitry Malikov
The singer, whose draft age was left behind, is the only one who did not serve who does not try to somehow justify the absence of a military past in his biography. Not trying to dissemble and block himself, he honestly declares that he simply “ran away” from the military registration and enlistment office. Having gone to school after school, he had a respite, but after graduating from the conservatory at 24, he could have been called up, but decided to ignore the summons. It’s not that he was hiding, he simply did not appear on the summons, pretending that he had not seen them. It is possible that if the military enlistment office had decided to seriously take up the conscript, they would have found him and handed the gun into his hands, but luckily no one showed excessive zeal.
